Indus Health Plus participates in Lavasa Women’s Drive

Indus HealthThe 6th edition of Lavasa Women’s Drive (LWD) saw a fervent participation over 2000 plus women who drove from Mumbai and Pune to Lavasa as an ode to the strength of womanhood.
Lavasa Women’s Drive said ‘Hats Off’ to all women for their enthusiasm and spirit. The theme of the drive this year was ‘Cancer Prevention through Early Detection’.
Lavasa women’s drive was conceptualized as a fun event with an impetus to raise awareness on cancer. Keeping with the theme, the participants were an array of women from different walks of life who came together for a mammoth display of pride and support towards ‘women power’, mobilized to save life through early detection of cancer.
The drive was flagged off by Purab Kohli and Hasleen Kaur in Pune on 22nd February at Ritz Hotel Balewadi. Women displayed their cars decked out with messages on cancer prevention and other social causes close to their heart.
Indus Health Plus, being in line with the cause of cancer prevention, participated in the rally to spread the message and encourage everyone to go in for regular preventive health checkups to keep cancer malady at in check.
The theme of the drive reverberates with the Indus’s core ideas, which saw a representation from Indus Health Plus by Trisha Roy, Assistant Manager, Marketing Communication and Dr. Sania Siddiqui, Medical Content Writer (also the winner of Best Cancer Message Award, LWD 2013).indus lvasa
